HTC and AT & t have updated their Facebook status to confirm that your social phone network-oriented comes at the end of this summer.
The companies announced plans to release the State from HTC, an Android phone with a keyboard and a button dedicated Facebook, later this summer. The announcement was made, of course, in a new Facebook page for the device.
Presented as Cha Cha at Mobile World Congress in February, State allows fans of social networking to share all kinds of content only by pressing the blue button from Facebook at the bottom of the device. The button is contextual, allowing users to share the photo being taken, the Web page they are seeing or even the song you are listening. The device was released first outside of United States, but AT & t said that it would bring a version to the United States.
On the technical side, the characteristics of State candy bar-shaped a screen of 2.6 inches, the version of Android gingerbread and the latest version of HTC Sense, which allows functions as a ring gets stronger or more quiet when you select a phone when the phone is in a pocket or portfolio.
The phone also has other functions of Facebook, such as the ability to view friendly States through a Facebook Chat widget and the possibility of photo profile on Facebook from a friend and the State that is called or they call you.
Pricing and exact availability for the phone were not announced.
HTC is not alone in eyeing the market for a phone focused on Facebook. INQ Mobile also debuted an Android phone with ties to the social network, although they have not yet announced U.S. plans.
